Why Choosing the Best Life Works:
Choosing the Best Life is an abstinence-centered education program that aligns with federal guidelines on sexual risk avoidance. This curriculum educates teens on the health risks associated with early sexual activity and substance abuse. Through eight engaging lessons, teens gain the emotional strength and self-discipline needed to make healthy life choices.
Character Education: Encourages respect, self-respect, compassion, honesty, and courage.
Relationship Education and Refusal Skills: Provides confidence to handle peer and relationship pressures.
Motivational Learning Environment:
Utilizes video vignettes, discussions, and role-plays to engage students.
Medical Learning Model: Offers current information on STDs, emotional consequences, and teen pregnancy.
Parent Involvement: Student Manual promotes at-home parent-student interaction.
